Secondary Education
At the end of the 4th. cycle of the Fondamental school, the pupils are orientated to the secondary school. For the moment the selection procedure stays the same, but it will get changed in the next years.
The secondary school in Luxembourg is divided in two:
- secondary school
- technical secondary school
There's a possibility to change from one to another: the student who succeeded the 7th, 8th or 9th théorique of the technical secondary school (with an average of at least 45 points) can enter the 5th, 6th or 7th degree of secondary school.
For the pupil who suceeds the 3rd. degree of the secondary school, admission in the 12 degree of any section of the technical secondary school is possible.
